Therapeutic boxing is rare.

Many people want more than just talking. A means of expression, learning to feel (better).

A frequently asked question is also: Dealing with emotions, handling anger, recognizing and indicating boundaries.

Physical feeling is very close to emotional feeling.

We have discussed these themes a lot. Boxing is a nice metaphor for that. Because it is so direct and physical, martial arts is a great way to make you more aware.

WHY THERAPEUTIC BOXING IS LOW COMMON

Many supervisors, therapists, coaches do 1 of the 2.

Either they are good sports instructors, or they are skilled therapists. Usually you can choose: Am I going to talk about my issues, or am I going to exercise.

A personal trainer is not a therapist, a therapist is trained to talk. Therapeutic boxing is the blend of the two. It is not about learning physical skills, but about expressing yourself through your physicality.

Tension is in your body. Skilled guidance is needed to recognize this through boxing. Where do you have to be to do just that?

BOXING COACHING, THE MIX OF DOING AND THINKING

Boxing coaching programs include therapeutic boxing.

We are not going to either talk or move, here we work together. In the active session we work on your questions. Our coaches are skilled in both areas.

The exercise, martial arts and conversations. Both are discussed: confrontations, surprises, discharge. We see it in every session.

For many of our customers, the fact that “it is finally allowed” is already a huge breakthrough. But therapeutic boxing is more than this.

You really work on your themes through the physical working methods.

The program can be offered individually, with family support or in groups. For individual or family coaching, please contact us and we will schedule an intake interview. We then plan 5 training sessions and an outtake. If desired, a refresher training will be scheduled approximately three months after our process.
